Meet the team
John is a graduate of the University of Essex, where he received an honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics and has now worked in the IT and telecommunications industry for almost 30 years. With a career spanning a variety of roles including broadcast and satellite services, international private circuits, managed solutions and, more recently, appointed as the new GM for BT's Redcare Fire and Security offering.
Married, with three children and a cocker spaniel, his outside interests primarily involve all things to do with family life. He holds a passion for modern day British politics and works voluntarily as treasurer and website support for a local pre-schoolClose
Jim has been employed in the telecommunications industry for over 35 years performing a variety of roles over this period. He has worked in engineering, client management, managed network solutions and most recently as Head of Sales for BT Redcare.
Married with two grown up children who still take up much of his time particularly with DIY projects around their homes. Jim is also a qualified football coach who manages a youth team in his local area in Glasgow. He’s also a keen traveller who enjoys visiting as many varied and different destinations as possible as well as an avid golfer whose ambition often outweighs his ability.Close
Geoff began his long BT career as an apprentice and worked in engineering before moving into management roles. He has worked in TSO, Openreach, Group and Global Services in a variety of roles including Service Operations, Sales & Client Management, and most recently in Business Improvement.
Geoff has worked with all types of customers from small businesses through to major clients including the Ministry of Defence and Royal Bank of Scotland. Geoff is married and lives on the Wirral. When not working he enjoys gardening and photography and is a keen music fan. Geoff has recently joined the Redcare team.Close
Nick has worked for Redcare since the early 1990's, involved in the original helpdesk in the Midlands and has since taken on various roles within Redcare on the technical side.
Nick is currently head of product and portfolio for Redcare, his previous role on the team was Regional Technical Manager and Insurance Industry Liaison. Prior to joining the Redcare team Nick worked for BT in a Fault repair centre as a diagnostic Testing officer.
Clive's covered many roles within the company since starting in 1978, from his early days of engineering in the field up to his present role as Head of Operations for BT Redcare. He currently manages the Northampton Network Management Centre, Redcare Technical Helpdesk and the ordering processing team in Liverpool.
His people management skills encourage his team to deliver a great customer experience every time.
Married with a daughter, Clive is a keen dinghy sailor, runner and follower of many sports.
Michelle started her career in BT Wholesale and has worked for BT for 13 years. Over this time Michelle has built strong lasting relationships between BT and SME’s in the South West & Wales.
Thereafter Michelle moved over to join BT Global and learn new skills as Project Manager for the Ministry of Defence. Her passion for sales and customer facing came into play when Michelle joined the Central Government within BT, who deal with the Home Office and agencies involved. More recently Michelle has moved into the Redcare Team as a Regional Account Director and is very excited about being part of a great team and helping to continue to move the Redcare Brand forward.
Michelle lives in Cheltenham and has two fantastic children; Cheeky chappy Jack Michael who is 3 years and a whirlwind of a Daughter called Annabella who is 5 years. Out of work all of Michelle’s time is consumed with her children.
Neil has worked for BT for almost 35 years with a varied career that has seen him play key roles in Product management and Sales. Joining Redcare as an engineer he helped to expand and build the Network and Host computer infrastructure.
Neil has been a key driver over many years, helping to make Redcare into the leading Fire and Security Company it is today.
Working closely with customer is a key driver in our business "our customers are many and varied from very large customers to small installers. All are important to the business and have been key to the success of Redcare over the years and will continue to be the future success of Redcare."
Neil lives in Stockport with his wife Denise, he has two Daughters and two great grandchildren. Neil enjoys watching Football, playing Golf and walking his dog.
Raj has been working for BT for 28 years, and over the last six years as Regional Account Director for BT Redcare fire and security. He currently looks after the Fire and Security portfolio; responsible for managing key alarm receiving centres (ARCs) and installers.
Raj has three wonderful children, eldest who is a doctor and partner who is a practicing GP. He has a strong passion for cooking especially Indian and Chinese. As keen traveller, Raj is an amateur photographer and has a strong interest in astronomy.
Baz joined BT in 1993 and has been involved in Sales throughout his career, working across different lines of the BT Group has given him a wide breadth of experience in Sales. Throughout his career journey, Baz has dealt with many small and large corporate customers addressing their business needs and providing them with world class solutions that meet their business objectives, through driving better business value.
More recently Baz joined BT Redcare as Regional Account Director; responsible for all ARC's and Installers based in the South region and is a lead interface into BT Redcare. His objective is to address all aspects of your mutual relationship, sales strategy and continue to help us grow together.
Rob started his working career as a junior in a graphic design studio and left to start a Technical Apprenticeship with Lucas Industries. On completion of his apprenticeship Rob pursued a career in Electronics and Telecommunications and has since held several engineering positions.
Rob then joined BT Redcare in 2005 and was appointed as UK North Technical Support Manager in 2006, later in 2011, joined the Redcare sales team as North Regional Technical Manager, a role which he enjoys immensely.
Born in Glasgow, Rob married his wife in 1994 and now has two children. He’s a lifelong and passionate music fan with an ever-expanding vinyl collection and some great concert memories! When he’s not working, Rob enjoys Fly Fishing and working on his Motorbikes.
Raff first joined BT in 2002 and has undertaken roles as office operative, on the fault resolution business customer’s team and later took an interest in networking infrastructure as an engineer within our Openreach division. Raff has also worked in several managerial and administrative roles within BT, which has helped him to understand all aspects of the business strategy. Where he enhanced his career was in Openreach, as a technical expert and becoming a multi skilled engineer that delivered customer satisfaction and resolutions to problems.
Raff then joined the Redcare Technical Helpdesk team in 2014 where he could assist alarm engineers and support with installation.
Recently promoted, Raff is now the Regional Technical Manager for the South region. He’s extremely excited to be working closely with the ARCs and alarm companies to bring innovative fire and security solutions and bringing a new dynamic approach to our engagement.
Lisa has worked at BT for 12 years in a variety of marketing roles, across a wide range of business areas. She currently heads up a team responsible for marketing activity across Redcare, Payphones and Voice Services.
After a year out travelling and exploring the delights of Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and Bali amongst others, Lisa started her foray into marketing at university, specialising in this as part of a Business Studies degree. Then moving on to work in the real world and put her studying into practice for IBM, Global One and Infonet.
Lisa is married with two children and lives in Essex. Luckily married to a man that can cook as this is not one of her strengths and an avid sports fan!
