Solution

The solution is designed to support revenue generation and cost reduction initiatives across the borough. The council control room provides an alarm and remote video security service for council buildings, schools, colleges and care homes. The Public Safety Centre is targeting its service to be utilised by over 1000 sites in the borough and surrounding local authorities, reducing the need for localised manned guarding. Based on IPSecurityCenter management software, integrated response plans and security policies ensure operators are guided through incident response.

Remote camera viewing and incident collaboration are provided through intelligent mapping providing the operator with visual cues to be able to guide on-site personnel to the incident. Management reporting delivers visibility on operator performance, incidents, type, number, date and location. Sending automated e-mails of incident details and Service Level performance to stakeholders is also built-in.
