To supply your customer with redcare, complete the following steps:
1. Check that redcare is available from their local telephone exchange. Click here for an availability search.
2. Where redcare gsm is required you will need to do a site survey to ensure adequate GSM signal strength.
3. Does your customer have a BT PSTN line that redcare can be connected to? If not, you or your customer should place an order with BT sales for a new line. You will need the phone line number before you can place your order for redcare.
4. Is the PSTN line also connected to a fax or modem? If it is, you may need to provide your customer with a Modem Compatible Device (mcd). These are available from redcare (Tel: 08702 400503) at a cost of approximately £40 (plus Shipping & VAT).
5. Is your customer's phone line hard-wired to a BT Block Terminal? If not, you will need to include a request for one with your redcare order.
6. You can now place an order for redcare with your chosen Alarm Receiving Centre. For a list of ARCs click here.
