| Introduction The Course
The course is divided into five main parts:
Part 1- Welcome
Part 2- System overview
Part 3- Installation Training
Part 4- Trouble-shooting
Part 5- Test Session We suggest you complete parts 2 - 4 in sequence before you move to the Test Session. It is important to follow the directions at the foot of each page. When you have completed each of the four main parts, you will see a main indicator board reminding you of the part you have completed and telling you where to go next.
Certificate
Pass the test at the end of the course and you will be entitled to a RedCARE certificate that is approved by the Security Systems & Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB) for inclusion in an NVQ assessment. Note that under the new European Standards it is mandatory for everyone involved in installing electronic alarm systems to have completed a training course.
